It depends on panel count, background complexity, whether you need colour and lettering, and how fast you need it — a four-panel conversation and a nine-panel chase are very different days of work. As a guide, a fully coloured and lettered page takes two to four studio days once thumbnails are approved, so a twenty-page issue usually runs six to ten weeks. Line-art-only pages move faster. You get a page-by-page schedule with the quote.
You do — one hundred percent. Commercial rights transfer on final payment and you receive the layered source files, not just flattened exports. A full NDA and service agreement protect your intellectual property from the start.
Usually. Send references, an existing issue, or the pages your previous artist drew, and we will match line weight, colour handling and lettering so the series stays consistent. If we do not think we can hit a style well, we will say so rather than take the job.
Yes. Plenty of projects arrive as a paragraph and a character sketch. We can work from a beat sheet or a prose outline, break it into pages and panels ourselves, and send the thumbnails back for approval before anything is drawn properly.
Yes — lettering and sound effects can be booked on their own. Send the pages and the script, and you get back lettered pages with balloons on separate layers so translation is straightforward later.
Unlimited at the sketch, thumbnail and editing stage — that is the point of sketching first. After inking or typesetting, two rounds are included, and anything beyond that is quoted upfront so there are no surprise invoices.
